Youth

The Hills Youth Ministry exists to encourage youth to connect with God, to help them grow in their faith, and to challenge them to respond to God’s call in the community and the world.  Youth activities are for all youth ages 6th through 12th grade to grow in their faith in Jesus Christ and in relationship with one another.  In addition to activities planned just for them, our youth are encouraged to be active participants in church life through committees, serving in worship, and helping with our children’s ministry programs.  Please contact Anne Horvath, Director of Youth Ministries, at whumcyouth612@gmail.com at any time to learn more!

Sunday School–Youth are divided into age groups for lessons and activities

  • 5th through 8th Grades meet in Youth Room C at 9:30am & 11am
  • 9th-12th Grades meet in Youth Room A at 11:00am

Youth Group–This is our large group time for all youth to build a faith and fellowship community.  Most Sundays, we meet at the church at 5pm and share a dinner meal together followed by games and activities.  We sometimes divide into smaller groups by age for study and discussions.  We end at 7pm.  Occasionally we will meet at other times and locations for special activities.  Our schedule is always posted outside the youth rooms at church.  Click the following link to download the youth group medical release and permission form that each youth who participates in our program must have on file.
