This video series is the representation of the life of Jesus, but in a fresh and unique way.  Instead of just focusing on the teachings and miracles he did, The Chosen shares an idea of what everyday life with Jesus would have been like.  The producers have used what is called “sanctified imagination” to fill in the in-betweens that don’t come straight from the Bible.  However, many of the scenes are directly and faithfully derived from Scripture.  

While some folks have watched the videos on their own, we have found that having the opportunity to discuss with others what we’ve seen provides a significant benefit for insight and understanding.  That’s why our studies are structured around watching a video episode of the series, and then engaging in conversation around what we found to be meaningful, or to answer any questions that we might have.  

We currently have 4 different small groups engaged in this study, each at a different place in the 4 seasons of the show.   These groups are led by Dana Flemming and Patty Dorsey.  Watch for announcements of the formation of new groups.  If you have any questions, please contact the church office.
