Zoe Empowers is an initiative that supports orphaned and vulnerable youth in several countries in Africa and Asia. The organization helps young people break free from poverty and dependency by teaching them practical life skills, such as nutrition, hygiene, agriculture, and financial management, along with career training, empowering them to lead with confidence on their journey out of poverty. Youth join supportive peer groups that act as extended families, fostering a strong sense of community. Through a dedicated three-year program, participants receive focused guidance and resources to improve their health, safety, education, and social connections, ultimately achieving lasting self-reliance, financial independence, and a brighter future.

Here’s how to serve:

Lift up the children and the Zoe Empowers staff in Africa and the US in your prayers. You can also support this mission through tax-deductible donations to WHUMC by including "Zoe Empowers" in the memo line. Stay engaged by checking the bulletin boards in the hall and keeping an eye out for announcements on additional ways, such as the end of the summer corn sale, to contribute to this impactful ministry.
