Anne grew up in Hilliard, Ohio outside of Columbus and got her undergraduate degree in Child and Family Community Services from Bowling Green State University. She earned her Masters Degree in Christian Education from Pfeiffer University in North Carolina a year before she began her work at Willoughby Hills United Methodist Church in August of 2007. 

Anne is married to Mike Horvath and they have two daughters, Abby, who is in college at Bowling Green State University and Sarah, who attends Mentor High School. They also have a black lab named Sheldon and enjoy daily walks and longer hikes with him in their free time.
