Project HOPE for the Homeless
Did you ever consider that through a tragic event, loss of job or illness, you could be in the position to lose your home? This is a reality for many in our area. Project Hope is a homeless shelter located in Painesville that answers to this crying need. They provide temporary housing and many other support services to help people get back on their feet. The shelter is currently finishing a large expansion that will more than double their capacity and increase the services that they are able to offer. Visit the Project Hope website to learn more.
How you can help:
- For many years our church has provided the dinner meal on the third Sunday of each month. We need volunteers to cook and deliver these meals. If you would like to sign up to prepare a meal, please contact Anne Horvath at [email protected]
- Tax-deductible donations can be made to WHUMC with Project Hope on the memo line.
